Ypeople has received the prestigious quality accreditation Recognised for Excellence (R4E) at the highest level of 5 stars, at an awards ceremony in Glasgow this week.
R4E is an internationally recognised quality standard, which is given to organisations that can demonstrate excellence across all areas of operations against the nine criteria of the European Foundation for Quality Management (EFQM) Excellence Model.
The award follows an in-depth assessment visit from a team of assessors from Quality Scotland, who scrutinised our processes and met with over a third of our workforce during the week.
In addition to the 5 star R4E award, Ypeople also received two Good Practice Awards, for Managing with Agility and Succeeding Through the Talent of People. Ypeople’s staff shone to the assessment team, and they all commented about the passion and enthusiasm of the staff that they met.
Part of the feedback from the awards stated:
This organisation has a clear core purpose, which is defined through their core values. All staff throughout the organisation referred to these values and how they are embedded in the day to day running of the business.
The extent to which these values are deployed is exceptional and creates a sense of purpose and alignment across the organisation at every level.
The organisation has a very people focused culture, with high levels of investment in their staff and a wide range of ways through which staff are engaged, motivated and encouraged to put forward their own ideas and suggestions.
Our CEO Joe Connolly said of the accreditation:
“Achieving Quality Scotland’s 5 star accreditation is a tremendous accolade and genuinely marks Ypeople out as a world class organisation committed to quality.”
We are incredibly proud of these awards, and the well deserved recognition it affords to all our hard working staff. We have teams based across Scotland who are striving to create positive change in the lives of those who need it the most. Thank you to Quality Scotland for these awards, we look forward to working with you again in the future.< back
