About the role

Broomhouse Supported Accommodation provides a 24-hour accommodation service to adults aged over 16.

The team supports people through their experience
of homelessness, to enable them to find permanent accommodation and to
help them find the confidence in themselves to live independently

  • You are qualified to SVQ2 and/or willing to work towards relevant qualification – SVQ3
  • You have knowledge of the issues surrounding homelessness
  • You have gained relevant experience of providing support to vulnerable people

What you will be doing

  • When required, assists case manager of the person we support in facilitating key work meeting to develop and review support plans in collaboration with those we support
  • Provide appropriate levels of high-quality support to those we support
  • Accurately record matters relating to the wellbeing of those we support when required
  • Completing incident reports to a high standard and following the correct sharing and escalation process
  • Working an average of 39 hours per week Monday to Sunday on a shift rota basis
