Ypeople has been at the forefront of Psychologically Informed Environments (PIEs) nationally, with our Pathways service the first in Scotland to adopt the approach.
It originated from supporting people out of homelessness, in particular those who have experienced complex trauma, have Adverse Childhood Experiences ( ACE’s) or are diagnosed with a personality disorder. We help people to overcome their negative life experiences through relationship-based support, which addresses a person’s needs while building resilience and self-worth.
We believe in the power of this approach, and have experienced first hand the positive effect it can have on some of the most marginalised people in our society.
